What’s Actually on the Floor
Northern Lights Casino live games are what pull most people onto the floor at our Prince Albert property in Saskatchewan. We operate under the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), so every table sits inside a regulated First Nations gaming framework, not in any kind of grey-area setup. The gaming floor covers around 46,500 square feet, which gives the live tables room to spread out and still feel comfortable even on a busy Friday night.
Blackjack and roulette are the main focus in the live section, both dealt by real dealers at the table. That is clearly listed in our own casino materials, not only in random third-party listings. Around those core tables we also run baccarat, craps, keno, and poker in both cash game format and structured tournaments. Official sources do not publish exact table counts or fixed minimum bets, so if those numbers are important before you get in the car, it is better to call us directly at +1 306-764-4777.
| Game | Format | Live Dealer |
|---|---|---|
| Blackjack | Standard table | Yes |
| Roulette | Standard table | Yes |
| Poker | Cash game and tournament | Yes |
| Baccarat | Standard table | Yes |
| Craps | Standard table | Yes |
| Keno | Draw-based | Yes |
The Starlight Lounge is part of the same building and connects into the main complex. In practice that means you do not have to choose between a live table session and an evening with music or an event. You can finish a blackjack shoe, walk a few steps, and be in front of a stage without putting on a jacket.
Getting There and Getting Started
Our physical address is 44 Marquis Road West, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, S6V 7L7. Live gaming runs every day from 9:00 AM through to 4:00 AM, though hours on select nights may vary, so calling ahead is always a good idea. That operating window is long enough that most players can arrive on their own schedule instead of racing the clock. Prince Albert is roughly 140 kilometres north of Saskatoon. Highway 2 brings you straight up, parking is available on-site, and under normal conditions the drive from Saskatoon usually stays under two hours. Guests also come in from places like Melfort or La Ronge, which sit at a distance that still works for an evening trip.
There is one practical point that really matters if you are travelling in specifically for a certain kind of play, especially poker. For tournaments or a particular table setup, always pick up the phone and call before you leave. Start times can move, formats change, and tables can get reserved or pulled for private groups. A two-hour drive only to find the game you wanted is not running that night is the kind of thing we want you to avoid.
When you actually walk through the doors, the typical flow looks something like this:
- Arrive during operating hours and make sure you have valid government-issued photo ID with you. Guests must be 19 years of age or older to enter the gaming floor.
- Go in through the main gaming floor entrance where security and staff are stationed.
- Locate the cashier cage and exchange your cash for chips in Canadian dollars.
- Choose the table you want to play - blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, or whatever brought you in.
- Put your chips into the betting area on the layout before the dealer calls no more bets.
- For poker tournaments specifically, check in and register at the poker desk ahead of the posted start time.
- When you are finished playing, head back to the cage and cash out your remaining chips.
On the floor layout, slot machines sit in their own separate area, slightly away from the main live tables. That bit of separation means the table games section keeps a different atmosphere - less machine noise directly in your ear when you are thinking through a hand, and fewer people walking behind you between rows of slots.
